Below are answers to the most common questions families ask when getting started with Thrive Health Care.

If you do not see your question here, our team is always ready to help.

Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA therapy, is an evidence based approach designed to improve the quality of life for individuals with autism.

It focuses on teaching important skills such as communication, daily living, social interaction, and independence.

ABA therapy is available for children, adolescents, and young adults with an autism diagnosis.

At Thrive Healthcare, we support individuals from 18 months to 24 years old.

If your child has not yet been diagnosed, the first step is to schedule an evaluation with a qualified healthcare professional.

Once your child has a formal autism diagnosis, you can begin the process of starting ABA therapy.

If you need guidance, our team can help point you in the right direction.

Getting started is a guided and structured process designed to support both you and your child.

Your child will be assigned a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who will meet with you to understand your goals.

An initial assessment will be completed, and a personalized treatment plan will be created based on your child’s needs.

Once the plan is approved, your child will be assigned a treatment team made up of behavior technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians who will implement the program.

Your child’s progress is continuously monitored, with supervision from the BCBA and reassessments every six months.

Each session is tailored to your child’s specific goals.

Your child will work one on one with a Registered Behavior Technician who implements the plan developed by the BCBA.

Sessions may take place in different areas of your home or community settings such as parks, stores, or other real world environments to help skills carry over into everyday life.
